The Spirit of Christmas is with us again
The candles are lit and the fire’s been fed
Stockings are hung and the bows have been tied
With ribbons of green and red

They’re waiting for Santa to bring them some toys
They listen for sleigh bells, they don’t make a noise
Their prayers have been said and they’re tucked into bed
They’re dreaming in green and red
